Level 3 — TronLogo: Requirements
Level 3 adds visual print previews on top of your L2 Print Options. It connects each print location and technique from L2 with high-quality product images and, optionally, preview images that show where the print will appear. These visuals are used in TronDesigner and connected webshops to improve the customer experience and reduce errors.
L3 always works on top of L2:
L3 uses the print options from Level 2 (print locations, techniques, ProductRef, etc.).
If Level 2 is not available, we first need to create or integrate L2 Print Options, which results in additional integration cost.
Mandatory image requirements
To enable L3, you must provide product images that meet the following criteria:
Clean images (no branding)
No logo, no watermark, no text or graphic overlays.
The product must be clearly visible and not covered by any foreign elements.
One product of one color per image
Each image must show exactly one product.
The product must be in one specific color (no color combinations or multiple products in one shot).
High-resolution images
Minimum resolution: 600 px (shorter side).
Optimal: 1000 px.
Best: 1400 px or more for detailed zoom and precise print placement.
These requirements ensure that print positions from L2 can be accurately mapped and displayed in configurators and webshops.
Recommended: Print preview images
To further improve the result, we recommend providing print preview images:
Images (or overlay graphics) that clearly show where the print is placed on the product.
Ideally aligned with L2 LocationName (e.g., “Barrel Left”, “Front Chest”).
Can be:
separate product images with a sample print,
or transparent overlays that can be placed on top of the clean product images.
While not mandatory, these preview visuals:
Make it easier for end customers to understand print positions,
Reduce misunderstandings and complaints,
Improve the overall perceived quality of your integration.
